- Mark Davies web pages with several corpora, including the BNC
- Sketch Engine: this is a subscription site, but has a 30 day full use tial subscription option
- AntConc: download the free corpus analysis programme from here. You have a worksheet which introduces you to the basic functions of this programme.
- Teachit
- Spaceless.com: an online concordancer which you can load texts into and generate word frequency information from. It doesn't generate concordance lines, though.
- The Compleat Lexical Tutor: Tom Cobb's website with lots of tools for exploring words and texts
- The Cobuild sampler
- BNC Sampler
- Webcorp: a concordancer that searches the entire web. You can restrict your search to certain newspapers, ect
- Leeds collection of Internet corpora: somewhat daunting interface but this may be useful for investigating new expressions, and also for making cross-linguistic comparisons
- Corpora blog - this has some useful links
- ICT4LT - excellent set of modules addressing applications of ICT in language teaching or teaching about language
